The WE:LCA sponsored Reverse Lenten Calendar donations were delivered to the Sunrise of Pasco County, Inc. Domestic & Sexual Violence Center in Dade City this morning by Salli Conover and Barb Turner. The center personnel were so thankful and grateful for the generosity of our Atonement Lutheran Church members. In addition to your donations, Salli individually 'bagged' some of the leftover jewelry from our WELCA 'clearance sale' held recently. The jewelry was 'perfect timing' as the bags will be placed in special Mother's Day bags the center is preparing for their clients. The Reverse Lenten Calendar of 'giving, rather than giving up' during Lent has been a WELCA community service project for several years now. It is such a worthwhile project and so appreciated. Thank you to all who participated. Mission accomplished!!
